Turn in a circle for power!
A good visualization is to feel like you are turning within a circle the width of your hips—a mini hula-hoop. Your goal is to turn within the circle and not move outside of it. If you move outside the circle, you will lose leverage and experience power failure; meaning you will have lost the coil between your upper and lower body.
Ideally, turn into your right hip and make sure you feel pressure on the INSIDE of your back foot.
Power Failure: My hips have moved laterally to the right creating a V with my right leg. This is a result of letting my weight shift to the outside my back foot.
