Get Green Checks with these Posture Key Points
When I watch pros on television address the golf ball, I see precision and attention to their posture. When I see recreational players address the ball, I see quick and sloppy with little, if any, attention to their posture. If your posture is sloppy and off-balance, then chances are your shot will be sloppy and wayward. Balance, athleticism, proper angles, and tilts are the key elements of posture. If done correctly, you are making it easier for the clubhead to do its job; strike the ball with speed and power.
Focus on Good Posture
I see many women set up to the ball hunched over, back and shoulders rounded, chin pinned to chest, and a butt tucked so deep, I can no longer see it! You cannot swing freely in this set up. You can see that there is good space between my chest and chin, allowing room for my left shoulder to rotate freely on the backswing.
