Culprit No. 3 Two Backswing NO-NOs:
Fake Turn and Overswing
Let’s examine backswing no-nos:
Culprit No.3 NO DISTANCE » The Fake Turn
A fake turn means your back is not facing the target and your shoulders are barely behind the ball. This is typically the result of lifting the arms, instead of turning with your shoulders.
In the NO swing: A FAKE TURN! My shoulders are barely behind the ball, as indicated by my chin. My shoulder is in front of my chin!
In the YES swing: My back and the target line are in sync, meaning my back is fully facing the target as indicated by my chin and shoulder, which are also in sync.
A big turn means your shoulders are behind the ball and your back is facing the target.
