On the Green Overview

It’s amazing, more than 50 percent of our strokes during a round are right here on the putting surface. If your goal for the season is to shave 4 to 5 strokes off your handicap, then spend all of your time here! The essential key elements of great putting are confidence, commitment, good tempo, and a quiet body; especially the head. We’ll explore it all, so let’s get to it!

NEVER walk in another player’s line. This is a golden rule of etiquette.

The pros take putting very seriously because they know that one putt could defeat their opponent. Even the second-, third-, and fourth-place finishers know that one putt could be worth a lot of dough. The good news: we don’t have that pressure. But if scoring is in our future, then it’s time we focus on sinking that putt.
