Woods and hybrids are a great option from a fairway bunker!

If your lie allows in a fairway bunker, the 7 wood is the club to use. Why? It is an easier club to hit because you sweep the ball off the sand for a clean hit that goes a mile. Just make sure you are far enough from the lip of the bunker and make sure your ball is sitting pretty. If it is buried, use a short iron to punch the ball out.

In a fairway bunker, DO STAND UP TALLER to promote ball-first contact. Your legs are quieter from a fairway bunker, as well. More about this in Series 2.
