Drill for Swing Path

Groove swing plane or directionally challenged tee shot

Many players struggle with an over-the-top move or an out-to-in swing path that results in the dreaded duck hook, banana slice or weak rights that go nowhere! Instead, to find the sweet spot of the driver, we need an in-to-out swing path!

This drill will help you get there fast with instant feedback. Please proceed carefully with this drill! If you have any fear, hold off and work with your Pro. And try this drill instead:

Grab your soft and cushy driver head cover, unless it is an animal head cover. If that is the case, then grab an old driver head cover. We don’t want to be smacking our cute little animal head covers around, now do we! Place the head cover to the right of your teed ball. The object of the game… don’t hit the head cover!

So let’s get to it!
