Get more clubhead speed!
The key to power is clubhead speed. Many players hit at the ball and decelerate through impact instead of driving through at warp speed. Slowing the club down through impact is a common scenario where players feel they need to hit at the ball. This in fact, slows the club down and will send the ball nowhere.
Instead, Barry emphasizes that a good way to increase clubhead speed is to visualize the speed from the golf ball to your finish. To feel this, grab a baseball and throw it. You’ll notice the speed of the throw is after the throw, not before. Plus, he provides other power tips in this great video.
