How to Hit a Fade
Shaping the shot is a part of the game where pros excel. The good news is that w,e too, can master shaping shots! It is all in your set up. Keep in mind that a fade tends to go higher and has less roll. A FADE is a controlled slice.
A fade is ideal to use on a dog-leg right.
Aim the clubface to your intended target.
Now, open your stance; meaning aim your feet, hips, and shoulders LEFT of your intended target line.
Tee the ball slightly lower than you normally would to promote a descending blow, which tends to put a left-to-right spin on the ball.
Now, make your normal swing. The path of the club will be more out-to-in, promoting a left-to-right ball flight.
