So many tees, so little time!
There are so many tees on the market that it can get confusing. Most tees are conventional height. But with today’s gigantic drivers, there are tees that are more than four inches high! Follow these tried-and-true methods to avoid tee confusion.
A common tendency is to tee the ball too high with your driver, where more than half of the ball sits above the top area of the driver. If you are suffering from pop-ups, this may be the culprit!
Tried & Tested Tee Heights
DRIVER: Tee it up so half the ball sits above the top of driver.
WOODS: Tee it up so the crown of the tee is just above the turf. If the wood’s head is bigger than this one, tee it up a little bit higher.
IRONS: Just above the grass for irons.
