This is a great drill to determine your tension levels.
I learned this drill while attending a 3-day golf school in Arizona. The object of the game is to throw the club to your intended target. If the club goes left or way behind you, you are holding on for dear life. Your goal is to get the club to your target.
The key to success with solid iron play is relaxed hands, arms, and shoulders. Much of this tension begins in the mind.
