BYE-BYE chunks, blades, and skulls!
Groove better sand-first contact with this effective bunker drill:
Create a line of raised sand and place your ball on top of it.
The object is to catch sand before and after.
Examine the result.
A Good Divot: Is not too deep or too shallow. It begins before and extends beyond the line, roughly the size of a dollar bill.
A Not-So-Good Divot: Is too deep and begins too far behind the line; most likely a result of keeping too much weight on my back foot or a flat-footed finish.
A Not-So-Good Divot: A divot that is well ahead of the line; most likely a result of coming out of my posture, peeking or fast tempo.
